AB Science is a late-clinical-stage French company founded in 2001 by a team of scientists with the goal of developing innovative drugs for diseases with high unmet medical needs.
The Company is based in Paris and has been listed on Euronext since 2010 (Compartment B, Paris, France).
AB Science has nearly 40 employees, primarily dedicated to R&D activities.
AB Science is currently developing two main compounds: masitinib, a highly selective tyrosine kinase inhibitor, and AB8939, a new-generation microtubule destabilizer.

The Scientific Committee was established in 2002 to define the Company’s main scientific programs.
Professor of Hematology at Paris V-René Descartes University. Head of the Adult Hematology Department at Necker Hospital (Paris), member of the French Academy of Sciences, elected to the Collège de France (Chair of Experimental Medicine), and author of more than 900 publications in peer-reviewed international scientific journals.
Head of Biology Practice at École Normale Supérieure de Cachan. Associate Director of the Life Sciences Department at the CNRS from 1996 to 2000.
